Clean room, friendly staff, with convenient access to 24-hour reception for late check-in and an inviting dining area that was very welcoming and clean, making it easy to grab breakfast before a day of exploring.

we had a wonderful stay at holiday inn, cheshire, southington, an ihg. the staff, especially francesca at the front desk, was super helpful with check-in and made sure our family had rooms on the same floor. the indoor pool was a great spot for the kids to unwind after a long drive. overall, the hotel was clean and had nice amenities like a fitness center.

I encountered some issues with the pool being closed during my stay, which wasn’t mentioned on the hotel’s website. The breakfast options available were limited and didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of quality, making it a bit disappointing considering the expectations. Additionally, the bathroom had peeling paint and rust stains around the faucet, indicating a need for some maintenance. Notably, I found the ceiling in the bathroom also had peeling areas, which detracted from the overall appearance. Overall, I hoped for a bit more attention to the upkeep and offerings.

The location was perfect for our family adventure, just a short drive from Lake Compounce amusement park. We loved that up to two kids eat free with an adult meal! It really made our stay enjoyable with four children in tow.

My kids wished the pool had been open during our stay. It would have been great for families to have that option available.

It felt like there was little soundproofing, which interrupted my sleep. I also found the breakfast offerings to be overpriced, especially since it wasn’t included in the stay. Overall, while I had a pleasant time, the noise and breakfast costs could use improvement.

Excellent hotel with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I remember my first stay when the staff helped me with a hot drink in the cold. A tip, check your door latch! I'm coming back for Easter.

I appreciated the friendly staff and the newly renovated room, and being just under a kilometer from Linear Park made my morning walks really enjoyable whenever I wanted to unwind. the proximity to dining options like Tipping Chair Tavern for a casual bite was another bonus.
